Periodontal Treatment

Periodontal diseases range from simple gum inflammation to serious disease that results in major damage to the soft tissue and bone that support the teeth.

Periodontal diseases range from simple gum inflammation to serious disease that results in major damage to the soft tissue and bone that support the teeth. In the worst cases, teeth are lost. According to a study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, nearly one in every two Americans over the age of 30 has periodontitis.

To help patients maintain good oral health, the ADA recommends a daily oral healthcare regimen that includes brushing twice daily for two minutes and cleaning between one’s teeth once a day. We encourage patients to eat healthy, limit snacks, and visit the dentist regularly.

If you have periodontal disease, we can provide various treatment options depending on the severity of the problem.
