Dr. Lauren Stump

Dr. Lauren Stump has been caring for patients in Charlottesville since 2014, providing thoughtful, personalized dentistry with the goal that every patient feels comfortable and valued. She loves getting to know her patients and developing relationships that extend well beyond a single dental visit.

Dr. Stump received her Bachelor of Science from Emory University before returning to her home state to attend the Indiana University School of Dentistry. She graduated with Highest Honors and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society recognizing excellence in dental education and achievement. Following dental school, she practiced in Milwaukee while her husband, Dr. Aaron Stump, completed his pediatric dental residency — and the two ultimately chose Charlottesville as the place to put down roots and raise their family.

She particularly enjoys esthetic dentistry and clear aligner therapy, paying close attention to detail to create beautiful, healthy, natural-looking results. When she's not practicing dentistry, Dr. Stump enjoys life with her husband, son, and daughter — you can often find them at sporting events, hiking a local trail, enjoying a concert, exploring nature, or pursuing creative and artistic interests. She feels fortunate to live and work in Charlottesville and to be part of such a wonderful community.
