Originally from Virginia Beach, Dr. Joshua Gordon is an alumnus of the University of Virginia and a graduate of the VCU School of Dentistry. After dental school he completed a one-year residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, where he gained broad experience in comprehensive dentistry, implants, and surgery.
He then practiced in Richmond, where he built a reputation as an excellent clinician across every area of dentistry — and returns to Charlottesville with his fiancée, Lucy, eager to put down roots and make this community his forever home. A Wahoo at heart, he is a massive UVA sports fan.
Drs. Rebecca and David Swett spent a year getting to know Dr. Gordon before welcoming him into the practice — his philosophy of patient care and his commitment to exceptional treatment align closely with the values Swett Dentistry has been built on since 1996. He is currently accepting new patients for cleanings, exams, and consultations, and existing patients are warmly invited to meet him at their next visit.
