Dr. David Swett

An avid Wahoo fan and proud father of Evan and Rosalie, Dr. David attended St. Anne's-Belfield in Charlottesville before studying at the University of Virginia, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He received his DDS from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1994, then furthered his training with a General Practice Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pennsylvania — after which he whisked his bride back to Charlottesville and started Swett Dentistry in 1996.
Dr. David enjoys providing excellent dental care as conservatively as possible. He believes patient education is paramount in helping people decide on the best course of treatment for their particular needs. He has a warm smile, and it's apparent that everyone who comes in contact with him feels that genuine warmth and kindness.
Dr. David has been a Free Clinic volunteer dentist since 2000 and served on its board of directors from 2006 to 2012. He is on the Board of Deacons at First Presbyterian Church in Charlottesville. He loves to hike, camp, ski, play cards, cheer on those 'Hoos, and spend time with family and friends.
