Dr. Lauren Stump is joining the Swett Dentistry family!
We kept hearing the same things about Dr. Stump: she is an excellent dentist, a thoughtful listener, and someone who makes people feel at home. Then we met her, and it all made sense.
Meet Dr. Stump
Dr. Stump has been caring for patients in Charlottesville since 2014. She especially enjoys esthetic dentistry and clear aligner therapy, bringing a meticulous eye and thoughtful touch to every patient she sees.
After earning her bachelor's degree from Emory University, she graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry with Highest Honors. She lives in Charlottesville with her husband, Dr. Aaron Stump, and their two children.
Carrying the Legacy Forward
Over the past 30 years, Drs. David and Rebecca Swett have built this practice around family, trust, and exceptional care. Dr. Stump is a natural fit to help us carry that legacy forward. She embodies the same warmth, integrity, and commitment to excellence that have always made this office feel like home.
When You Can See Her
Dr. Stump will be starting with us on Thursdays, while David and Rebecca continue seeing patients Monday through Wednesday—and enjoy more well-earned time outside the office.
We're incredibly grateful to welcome her to our team, and we think you'll like her just as much as we do.

Dr. Joshua Gordon, DDS
Dr. Joshua Gordon is a general dentist at Swett Dentistry in Charlottesville, Virginia. A University of Virginia alumnus and graduate of the VCU School of Dentistry, he completed a general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, with broad experience in comprehensive dentistry, implants, and surgery.
