COVID-19 Safety Procedures

On the day of your appointment, please complete both COVID Forms.

Thank you for trusting our practice. We've always followed state and federal regulations and recommended universal personal protection and disinfection protocols to limit the transmission of all diseases in our office and we'll continue to do so.

We have made a number of changes to our scheduling and office protocols as part of our COVID-19 Safety Procedures, designed to keep everyone safe while we follow all CDC requirements and ADA recommendations. We will, as always, provide a positive and comfortable experience for our patients even though you'll notice the following changes:

Advanced Staff Training

Each member of our team has completed additional awareness and prevention programs to enhance their knowledge and preparedness. Our team members also take their temperatures and complete COVID screening daily to insure your caregivers are healthy.

Social Distancing in Place

Fewer chairs in our reception area and helpful signs in our treatment area make 6’ spacing a practical reality.

Virtual Waiting Room

Now, you can check-in from your car. On the day of your appointment, wait in your car and call us at 434-979-3940 to let us know you arrived. Please wear a mask to your visit. We will take your temperature when you arrive. (Extra masks and hand sanitizer will be available.)

Change Work Clothes at Work

In the past, you might have seen us out of the office in our stylish scrubs. No longer. Now, we change into and out of our newly-cleaned scrubs at the office, every day.

Anti-Microbial Rinse

In addition to asking you to wash your hands when you get to your room, we will provide a hydrogen peroxide solution to rinse in your mouth for 60 seconds to reduce bacteria.

Sequenced Patient Scheduling

Plain and simple, we are seeing a much smaller number of patients per day. We are allocating more time between visits to ensure your safety.

Expanded Patient Appointments

In an effort to save you time and multiple exposures, we are offering extended appointments. This allows us to do more dentistry in a single visit.

Deep Cleaning

We are super clean as we thoroughly wipe, sanitize, and disinfect all instruments, equipment and surfaces in each operatory after every patient. Along with cleaning and sanitizing during the day, we take things to another level at night with a thorough top-to-bottom scrub down.

CDC-Approved Instrument Sterilization

This is standard procedure at all times, and nothing has changed. Anything that goes near your mouth is heat and pressure cleaned between every use.

N95 & ASTM Level 3 Masks

The beautiful smiles of our clinical team – dentists, hygienists, and assistants – will be protected behind double-masking at all times. Even our friendly administrative team will be smiling behind their masks!

Face Shields

Two masks are not enough. Our clinical team will also protect you and themselves through the use of FDA Approved PET face shields.

No Magazines or Activities

This may make our reception area a little less exciting, but it makes it much safer as well.
